Football is more than just a sport, especially during major tournaments. Our football brings people together, even those who do not know each other, do not speak each other's language or are unfamiliar with each other's culture.

The ball has yet to roll at the European Championships, the Olympic Games and the European Futsal Championships. And yet we are already extremely proud of you. For decades, you have been showing everyone how it should be done. That race, religion, origin and sexual orientation do not matter. That it is only about what you can do and what you do.

For generations, you have demonstrated what should be self-evident everywhere. You have demonstrated that diversity makes us stronger, even when the word diversity was never used.

Together, you are striving for success. And everyone is welcome to experience that. Thanks to you, everyone is united. That is how it should be everywhere.

Not only at the highest level, but at every level and in every field. And also outside of football.
