On Monday 25 April, Casper Boom gave a workshop on behalf of the John Blankenstein Foundation to youth coaches and other interested parties at the top korfball club DOS’46 in Nijeveen. This top korfball club in Drenthe has been competing at the highest level in the Netherlands for many years, both with its senior team and its top youth teams. The club has won many Dutch championships.
Around 30 people were present in the club's canteen, where Casper, who himself played in the club's team for many years, got to work with the audience. It was a positive evening in Nijeveen, where it was concluded that many things are already going well within DOS’46, but also that there is still room for improvement in some areas. In particular, people are not always aware of what they say or what is being said.
