The JBF is a proud sponsor of the children's book series by former professional footballers Wout Brama and Maud Roetgering. In this series, we follow Wout and Maud as young footballers who are at the heart of club life. Their stories are full of football, excitement and funny moments, so that children are immediately drawn into their world.

In the first book, Wout and Maud find themselves caught up in a mystery at the football club. Strange things are happening and together they try to discover what is behind it all. In the books that followed, the main characters deal with issues that also play a role in real life. Think of friendship, belonging, dealing with differences and recognising racism. The stories remain light-hearted and fun to read, but also teach children something along the way.

Through this collaboration, the JBF aims to contribute to accessible children's books that encourage reading enjoyment and demonstrate that everyone is welcome in sport. The series allows children to experience what it is like to work together, solve problems, and remain true to oneself, both on and off the field.
